Survivor: Nile's Final 3 castaways were required to stroll along the banks of the Nile River and use this time to reflect on the castaways voted out previously in the game.  They were reminded that they could not be where they are today if it weren't for these people that they have encountered in the game.  As they walked along the river, they were to use a Nile dictionary to come up with an African name for each castaway voted out in the game.  In addition, they were to write down on a piece of paper a few sentences that stated how they felt about that person.  For each reflection, they were to put the piece of paper in a glass bottle, toss it into the Nile River, and let the bottle float along the river.

Listed below is what each castaway, Anne, Jennifer and Trevor, named each person and their personal reflection on each person.

ANNE

Vanessa:  The word I would definitely use to describe Vanessa is
bizaare.  If you've ever played a Survivor game online, there was a 99.9% chance she was going to be in it.  In these games, she either plays, or isinactive from the very beginning.  Not only that, but you need some form of translator to understand what she's saying...  I
can't say I miss her at all.
The Nile Name I'm giving Vanessa is Taabu.  It's Kenyan, and it
means "Troubles", which is what she brought to our game.

Pat:  Before the game started, Pat and I talked a little bit,
discovering we were two of the "old people" in this game.   I don't
know him very well, and I'm sorry that he wasn't able to stay in the game longer.  He seems like such a nice guy, and I hope to play with him again sometime soon.
The Nile Name I'm giving to Pat is Mjibu.  It's Kenyan, and it
means "A Nice Person", which fits Pat to a tee.

Dan:  Dan is such a great person.  I'm sorry that I didn't get to know
him better thru the game, and I hope that he's able to play in other
games I'll be in.  He makes me laugh, and I'm glad I know him.
The Nile Name I'm giving Dan is Mcheshi.  It's Kenyan, and it means "A Nice Person".

Matt D:  I'm afraid I didn't get to know Matt D.
The Nile Name I'm giving Matt is Abdalla, which is Kenyan, and means "Servant of God"...  I know that Matt's luxery item was a bible.

Ashley:  I'm afraid that I didn't get to know Ashley, either.
The Nile Name I'm giving Ashley is Tamu, which is Kenyan.  It means "Sweet", and I gave it to her because her nickname is Sweet Pea.

Ryan:   I didn't have any interaction with Ryan in the game, but
afterwards, he invited me to take part in a game of his.  He seems like a nice guy.
The Nile Name I'm giving Ryan is Kyana.  It's from Kenya, and it
means "Young"....

Ray:  I'm afraid that I didn't get to know Ray at all.
The Nile Name I'm giving Ray is Zuberi.  It's Kenyan, and it means "Strong".  I know that Ray is a basketball coach, and an athlete, and you have to be strong to be an athlete.

Jason:  Jason, Jason, Jason.  What can one say about him?  As much as I like him outside of the game, I didn't trust him in it.  He did too much schemeing.  I think that if he had toned it down just a bit, he could've been one hell of a competetor in this game.
The Nile Name I'm giving Jason is Jemadari.  It's from Kenya, and it means "Army General"...  I think that sums Jason up, as he was trying to run the show.

TJ:  I'm sorry that I didn't get to know TJ better.  Everyone kept
saying how funny he is, but when we would talk, he was always in the middle of something, and he couldn't really talk...  He was well liked though, and would've been extremely tough to beat at the end.
The Nile Name I'm giving TJ is Farhani.  It's from Kenya, and it
means "happy", which is what TJ made people when he made them laugh.  I know I laughed everytime I looked at his screen name;)

Matt G:  Matt is a good person, and I'm glad he was in this game with me.  I'm glad I've gotten to know him, and I hope that we continue to be friends after the game is over.
The Nile Name I'm giving Matt is Maarifa, which is from Kenya, and it means "knowledgeable and skillful", which Matt is while he's playing one of these games.

Laura:  Even though Laura was on my tribe, we didn't talk all that
much.  We talked some, mostly about what was going on in our lives, but she seems like a nice person.
The Nile Name I'm giving Laura is Lamia...  It's from Kenya, and it means "Glitter", which is what she brought to the game, and I mean that in a good way:)

Ben:  I love Ben.  Ben is a great guy, and I'm glad I've gotten to know him.  Even though he probably did the most backstabbing in the
game, he saved my ass, and I adore him for that.
The Nile Name I'm giving Ben is Rafiki.  It's from Kenya, and it
means "friend", which is what I consider Ben.

Chris:  This is the first game I've actually played in with my brother.  He's been my host, and cohost before, but never a player, and I'm glad we got to play together.  If I had to do it again, I'm not sure I
would've told everyone we were siblings, as I feel it targetted us, but such is life.  He's a good guy, both online, and in real life.
The Nile Name I'm giving Chris is Hisham, which is from Kenya.  It means "generous", which is what he is for giving me the immunity
necklace last time, and thereby getting himself kicked out of the game again.

JENNIFER

Nyimak NYEE-mahk little fire Shulla Sudan Central Africa F
This is for Vanessa. She caused a fire maybe not so little. She caused
me to look at other web sites that blasted our game. She just created a lot of unnecessary problems and all in the first few days. May you have peace in your life Vanessa...hopefully because you'll need it.

Nyawela nyah-WEH-lah on a journey Shulla Sudan Central Africa F
This is about Pat whom I do not know. I have nothing to really say
since you time was cut too short for me to get to know you. I named for the journey because like us players you were on a journey and shall be remembered as such.

Nyirej NYEE-rehj little fish Shulla Sudan Central Africa F
This is Dan. Yet, another member I do not know. I will be brief since
I don't know too much. I named you little fish because I would hope you
would be a little fish. I don't mean for you being weak but for you staying in your tribe
and swimming with them like a little fish.

Adeben ah-deh-BEHN the twelfth born Akan Ghana West Africa
Ben, I don't think your 1 of 12 but we'll go with it. Ben it awesome
on riddles. He totally blew me away with all the stuff he know. He also is
apparently deprived at home. He constantly eats things and asks Laura
to perform obscene gestors. Lol!!!
I enjoyed playing with Ben...he kept us all on our toes...and made us
fight to the end on every challenge.

Zahabu zah-HAH-boo the golden one Galla Ethiopia East Africa F
Laura...the golden one. I enjoyed playing with you. We were together
since the beginning. We had talked once or twice and I am saddened we didn 't get to know each other. You are a beautiful young lady who seems to have a
great head on her shoulders. You also seemed very academic into reading and enjoying things like that which makes you wonderful at heart.

Adhra AH-drah apology Swahili Kenya-Tanzania East Africa F
Matt...another person from the other tribe I did not get to know. I
named you apology because I feel like these people from the beginning I
didn't get to know. I had no choice I wasn't allowed ti intermix tribes but I am sorry for the friendships that were lost and the potential that would never be.

Afua AH-foo-ah forgiveness Swahili Kenya-Tanzania East Africa
Ryan...the Ryan I do not know again. I ask for forgiveness because I
just found out I am in your new Survivor Game. I didn't know you were doing that one and we had been in the same game until it came up at a challenge. So you are a cool host....and I enjoy getting to know you later.

Amira ah-mee-RAH princess Swahili Kenya-Tanzania East Africa F
Ashley- I do not know very much. I named you princess because you were
one of the l last from your tribe. You were the female survivor over across the river so you can be called princess to represent that standing.

Awiti AH-wee-tee born after misfortune Luo Kenya East Africa
Ray, another tribe member whom I just missed because we merged right
after you left. I called you born after misfortune because one more TC and I would have gotten to know you. It was a close call

Asya AHSS-yah born at a time of grief Swahili Kenya-Tanzania East
Africa Jason, I was never quite sure why you had it in for me from the start. I did attend the challenges and helped where I could. I developed friendships with those who wanted to develope them. You inability to get to know me ... prejudge me....was something I never understood. But, we never clicked and I felt you caused a lo of chaos. It made the game rough and sometimes the chaos was very unnecessary.

Gasira GAH-see-rah bold, courageous Swahili Kenya-Tanzania East Africa
TJ, like I said to Matt, you outlasted many of your tribal members. You
played a good game and hung in for the long haul. I know you guys
didn't have too many active people which made it harder. But you were courageous and never gave up. You put up a good fight when you came over andheld on. Nice job....

Farisi FAH-ree-see Competent, capable Swahili Kenya-Tanzania East
Africa
Matt, the last member form the other tribe. You did a great job
especially going in to a merge with your numbers down. You won some needed challenges and played some good moves. You are defintely a great player who outlasted a lot of others. Nice job...

Basma BAHS-mah a smile Swahili Kenya-Tanzania East Africa
Chris, I was shocked when you left the first time. It made me realize
our tribe base was not as enact as I thought they were. You came back which was great. I understood you owed Anne for bringing you back. I also know that we developed a pretty good friendship and we will remain so after this is over. So I saw this name and it made me think of you "a smile."

TREVOR

Vanessa - Akinyi AH-key-nyee born in the early morning  Kenya
(elminated early)

Vanessa was not even voted out. She was taken out of the game for her acts ofbreaching the rules. She interacted with other tribe mates and generally caused ridiculousconflict among the tribes. I did not like Vanessa's actions nor her attitude toward the game, and it was a good move to bump her out.

Pat     - Siwatu see- WAH-too born during a time of conflict
Kenya-Tanzania
(gone before his time)

Pat seemed like a fun player. I did not get to know him well, but I think he
would have fit nicely into our original tribe of Nubian. This game may have turned out
completely different if that had occured. But bad luck seemed to shine
on him, and histribe of Giza voted him out early.

Dan - Mtoro mm-TOH-roh a runaway         Kenya-Tanzania
(left of his own accord)

Dan took himself out of the game.ad he
participated and seen the game through he
may have been on the jury. I did not talk to him much, nor get to know him, but he was a
real part of Nubian while he was here. He did the honourable thing however, and bowed out
gracefully when he could not continue, instead of just dropping out nad stringing his tribe along.

Matt D - Musoke moo-soh-KEH cannot be introduced Uganda
(never got to know him)

I never got to know Matt D. I never talked to him or familiarized myself with his
profile. He was vote dout of the Giza tribe for reasons I am unaware of.

Ashley - Nakawa NAH-kah-wah beautiful Kenya-Tanzania
(a pretty girl)

I may have only spoken with Ashley once or twice. The only thing I can say about
her is that she had a pretty face as could be seen from her profile picture. Now, whether
or not this was her real picture or not I cannot say.

Ryan - Ojore oh-joh-REH a warrior Uganda
(a strong member of giza)

Ryan was awesome. He singlehandedly stood up for the Giza tribe and came within
a hair of beating the combined stregth of the Nubian tribe. He was cheerful
and fun to talk to, and I was sad to hear he had been voted out.

Ray - Ridha REE-dah contented Kenya-Tanzania
(placed tenth, a respectable position)

Ray was also unknown to me. I cannot comment on his playing in the game or his
personality. Ray was so close to making the jury, but stil, he played the game and made a respectable position for himself.

Jason - Haoniyao   hah-oh-nee-YAH-oh born at the time of a quarrel
Kenya-Tanzania
(gone because of a quarrel)

Jason was awesome to play with. He was entertaining in our tribe and interesting
to talk to. He always had some help to provide me with the guitar and suggesting music
pieces to experiment with. It was very difficult for me to put his name down for voting, and I was sad to see him go. I hope to continue my friendship with Jason when this game is over.

TJ - Mandara MAHN-dah-rah leader Kenya-Tanzania
(leader of a failed attempt to turn the game around)

Tj was a strong opponent. He played the game well and made himself appear as a
threat to me. Tj was fun to play with, and I wish him the best in the future.

Matt - Kalamka KAH-lahm-kah intelligent, well-informed
Kenya-Tanzania
(was powerful in challenges and used his wits)

Matt is smart as hell. He was right on top with almost all the challenges and knew
his stuff. speaking truthfully, the only reason he was voted out when he was is simply
because he was not a part of our old tribe. That may seem unreasonable, but when we are
down to so few players and you like everyone around you, it is just easiest to select the
person you know the least.

Laura - Mwanatabu   m-wah-nah-TAH-boo born at time of trouble
Kenya-Tanzania
(started the game with troubles in her life)

Laura started the game with a world of trouble in her life, yet she perservered
and made it as far as she did. Yet she was voted out, simply because she turned against
the people she had become to know throughout the game. I hope her personal life improves
and she has no more problems as she once did. After all no one wants to have to drink
dozens of milkshakes a day....

Ben - Muyaka MOO-yah-kah good and truthful Kenya-Tanzania
(unlike I was to him)

Voting for Ben was the single hardest thing I have had to do in this game so far.
It is the one time I have not been comfortable with my actions and I regret what I had to
do in that tribal council. But this is survivor, and it was the only was I could find
to keep myself alive in the game. The move may have paid off in my favour, but I am not
proud of this one move I made to get here. I only hope Ben can forgive that and put it
behind him, because he was an incredible person to play with. He almost single-handedly
took the Nubian tribe through more than one challenge and definetly deserved to go farther
in the game.

Chris - Gacoki GAH-sho-key one who returns Kenya

The only survivor to get a second chance was Chris. He was brought back by Anne and fought with everything he had to keep in the game. In the end it was his own sense
of honour that lost him the game. He could not let Anne be voted out, for she had brought
him back, and he felt he owed her. And thus he became the first survivor to give up
the immunity necklace, and that move cost him the game.
